Job Summary
We are looking for a creative, data-driven and community-focused Social Media Specialist ready to jump into the dynamic world of branding, campaigns, and user-focused storytelling!
You will be responsible for serving as the voice and personality behind several of our key client accounts, bringing their brands to life.
This involves developing, publishing and executing compelling social media strategies that build brand awareness, foster engaged communities, and achieve tangible marketing objectives across a wide range of digital channels.
This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes social media. You’re a natural storyteller, a community-building expert, and you have a keen eye for what makes content pop on different platforms.
Academics and Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Media, Public Relations, or a related equivalent field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a social media role.
- Agency experience.
- Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts for different brands simultaneously.
- Strong portfolio including links to at least two social media accounts you have professionally managed, and one brand you think is excelling on social media right now and why.
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete an assessment test.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for various audiences.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X).
- Experience using social media management and scheduling tools.
- Solid understanding of social media analytics, with the ability to interpret data to guide strategic decisions
. - Experience in building and executing social media strategies, particularly within the B2B sector.
- Ability to leverage AI tools and technologies to optimise social media marketing efforts.
- Knowledge of basic design fundamentals to collaborate with the design team.
- Short-form video creation and basic editing to collaborate with the multimedia team.
- Experience working with influencer marketing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to meet project deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- High adaptability and flexibility.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Receptive to feedback.
- High level of professionalism and reliability.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic.

Job Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day social media presence for a portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring brand consistency and a high standard of quality.

Develop, write and schedule original, engaging content (including copy, images and short-form video) that aligns with each client’s brand voice and strategic goals.

Execute innovative social media strategies tailored to platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and Pinterest.

Act as the first point of contact for our clients’ online communities. Proactively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and foster a positive community environment.

Plan and implement organic campaigns to support client objectives, such as product launches, lead generation, and brand awareness drives.

Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance using tools like Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics. Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for clients.

Work closely with our internal team of designers, copywriters, and account managers to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to digital marketing.

Stay on the cutting edge of social media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to ensure our clients’ strategies remain relevant and effective.
